Betriebliches Gesundheitsmanagement: Selbstbestimmt fit am Arbeitsplatz

Beschreibung / Inhalte

Company health management: Self-determined fitness in the workplace

With the project "Company Health Management: Self-Determined Fit in the Workplace", funded by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Special Olympics Germany supports organizations of the disabled in the sense of occupational and medical rehabilitation in the development of a systematic company health promotion and here specifically in the areas of health prevention, exercise and sports. The goal was to continuously support the development and maintenance of the health and working ability of the workforce with the means of exercise and sports, to promote preventive measures and thus limit health risks or complaints. In this way, the implemented project explicitly addresses topics that are relevant to society as a whole and that are also becoming increasingly relevant for people with intellectual disabilities and have an enormous impact on their everyday lives and work environments: longer life expectancy, steadily increasing stresses and strains in the workplace, or the increasing number of sedentary occupations. Through the intensive and sustainable anchoring of the three-pronged approach of health, exercise and sport, the staff at management, employee and employee level in the workshops were therefore sensitized to a responsible approach to their own health in the occupational environment with the help of various measures.
