Ziele von Alondra:
- Erhöhung der Mobilität
- Steigerung des Selbstwertgefühls
- Sammlung neuer beruflicher Erfahrungen
- Aufbau bzw. Vertiefung von Sprachkenntnissen
- Vermittlung in den 1. Arbeitsmarkt
Zielgruppe:
- Menschen mit Handicap (u. a. Schwerbehinderung), die eine Ausbildungs- oder Arbeitsstelle suchen
- Mit Wohnsitz in Pforzheim, Karlsruhe oder dem Enzkreis
- Mindestalter: 18 Jahre
Projektbeschreibung:
Das Projekt Alondra bietet die Gelegenheit, einen 2-monatigen Auslandsaufenthalt mit Sprachkurs und Betriebspraktikum zu absolvieren. Mögliche Länder sind Italien, Spanien und ggf. Großbritannien. Während der Vorbereitungszeit bei QPS lernt sich die Gruppe kennen und es werden Kenntnisse in der Sprache, sowie Wissenswertes über das jeweilige Land und die dortige Arbeitswelt erarbeitet. Außerdem werden Kompetenzen und berufliche Möglichkeiten festgestellt.
Im Ausland wird ein weiterer Sprachkurs für die Teilnehmenden angeboten. Im Anschluss findet das 6-wöchige Praktikum in einem Betrieb statt. Die Unterbringung erfolgt in Gastfamilien oder in Apartments. Eine Vor-Ort-Betreuung durch Mitarbeitende von Q-PRINTS&SERVICE gGMBH sowie von den Partnerorganisationen ist gewährleistet.
Nach dem Auslandsaufenthalt unterstützt das Fachpersonal die Teilnehmenden bei der weiteren Suche nach einer Arbeits- oder Ausbildungsstelle.
Die Reisekosten sowie Kosten für Unterkunft und Verpflegung werden im Rahmen der Förderung durch das Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales und den Europäischen Sozialfonds übernommen.
Zusätzliches Projektziel ist die konstruktive Zusammenarbeit zwischen den nationalen und transnationalen Projektpartnern, um einen positiven Projektverlauf und einen internationalen Erfahrungsaustausch zu erreichen.
Durch den Austausch von ExpertInnen, Fachkräften und Akteuren der lokalen und regionalen Arbeitsmarktpolitik der nationalen und transnationalen Kooperationspartner sollen Know-how, Erfahrungen und Lösungsansätze ausgetauscht und erarbeitet werden und zur Verbesserung der regionalen Strategien zur Integration von Menschen mit Behinderungen beitragen. In der Regel findet einmal jährlich ein Expertentreffen in Deutschland/Pforzheim statt, um die Projekterfahrungen zu reflektieren.

Alondra- Improving employment opportunities through work placements abroad
The "Alondra" project is geared towards people with handicaps who are seeking employment and training and who live in the town of Pforzheim, in Karlsruhe and in the Enzkreis. They would like to improve their chances of finding employment by undertaking a work experience placement abroad.
"Alondra" is based on the "IdA – Integration durch Austausch" (Integration through Exchange) programme run by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Social Fund. The intention is for about 100 people to take part in the project and complete a work placement abroad by 2014. The costs of travel, accommodation, meals and support services are paid for out of funding provided by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Social Fund.
The stays abroad take place in Spain or Italy, and are also expected to take place in Great Britain. The participants gain vocational experience abroad and improve their language skills. They practise their social skills and demonstrate their flexibility and mobility. This means that they increase their chances of finding employment or training.
During a two month preparation phase in Germany the participants get to know each other and acquire a basic knowledge of Spanish or Italian. They learn useful information about the country and the world of work there and are prepared for their work experience placement abroad. The stay abroad includes a 2 - 3 week language course and a 5-week work experience placement. Work placements are provided in particular in sectors which build on the skills of the participants. Processing trades will form one of the main focuses. On-site support and mentoring services are provided by staff of the German institutions as well as by the partner organisations abroad.
The project federation assists the participants with the search for a job or training place for up to six weeks after they return home.
At regular intervals, meetings of experts take place in Germany where political and economic experts from the participating countries jointly discuss integration strategies for unemployed people who have a handicap. Experts may travel to attend specialist conferences in Italy and Spain in conjunction with the project. The aim is to promote the transfer of know-how, to learn from models of best practice, and to build up a European network.
