Success Factors of Vocational Rehabilitation and Integration Processes - an Analysis of Individual Progress in Vocational Training Centres (BRIV)

The model project aims to make a practice-relevant contribution to increasing the effectiveness of LTA measures by avoiding discontinuous courses in two-year qualifications (retraining) in BFW. The question of how to prevent such discontinuities and how to restore continuity in the case of a premature end of the measure with an unclear participation perspective will be examined from the perspective of all parties involved in the process (participants/ rehabilitation providers/ BFW), with the aim of developing concrete recommendations for action. During the 5-year term, the data basis will be obtained by a mixed method design of qualitative and quantitative research methods both retrospectively and prospectively and used step by step in the form of future workshops with the involvement of external expertise for the development of the recommendations for action. The focus on discontinuous courses opens up the perspective of previous research efforts on the topic of dropout events in BFW. Generalizable findings are expected beyond the institutional type BFW. The BFW Bad Wildbad and Birkenfeld represent the practical fields of the model project and support the research comprehensively.
