Operational Integration & Prevention

Companies and public sector employers use workplace inclusion and prevention programs, procedures and measures for their employees.

Workplace integration management (BEM) is a procedure that employers must offer to all employees who are continuously or repeatedly unable to work for more than six weeks within a year.

Workplace inclusion work also refers to measures such as work assistance or job coaching - to support and promote employees with severe disabilities in the workplace and at work as needed, and to secure their jobs in the long term.

Projects support, for example, small and medium-sized enterprises in the introduction and implementation of BEM or in the establishment of workplace health promotion, they develop handouts for BEM and concepts for workplace-related rehabilitation programmes at the interface between the company and rehabilitation, or evaluate and optimize integration processes for employees with health impairments in large companies.
