Description / Topics
"Kompetent mobil" aims to improve the vocational and social opportunities for participation of people with disabilities in sheltered workshops and on the first labour market.
Its focus is on the individual assessment and support of the mobility competence. The target groups are people with physical, sensory, cognitive and psychological impairments with the perspective of the transfer from sheltered work to the first labour market.
The project partners developed an ICF-based assessment instrument and a module with learning units to promote the mobility competence. The main focus of the module is on training to travel by public transport as well as with a wheelchair, rollator, bicycle and handbike and a safety training for pedestrians.
