Project IsaR - Virtual Competence Center for the Support of Pupils with a Visual Impairment

The intention of the project is to make the existing knowledge and the tried and tested developed strategies available to as many as possible who work in this field and to enable a broad nationwide networking of existing competencies. ISaR collects approaches, experiments, concepts, strategies and materials, systematizes them and makes them available to all interested parties. Main areas of work: - Databases with specialist literature, experience reports, implemented or suitable textbooks and materials for the design of common lessons. - Didactic pools with drafts, suggestions and teaching units for designing lessons that take into account the (visual) perception and strategies of pupils with a visual impairment. - Networking and supplementing further training offers for teachers of all school types and networking of existing further training offers - Coordination office with the task of supporting all those involved in the process of common teaching. In the networking of competences and resources lies the key to the further development of pedagogy in blindness and visual impairment. In turn, what is jointly developed supports and facilitates individual work.
