The Virtual Technical School offers extended vocational learning for employed adults who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. The students are able to get a graduation as operation manager or technician. This school is unique in Germany.
Education is subdivided into three equally important sections:
online lessons twice a week in a virtual classroom (using MS Netmeeting)
classes twice a month on Saturdays at the rwb-Essen (special school for hearing impaired)
self study (using varied material provided by the school)
