See-ViP (blended learning project for people with visual impairment)

Background It is particularly important for visually impaired and blind people to have access to information and communication technology (ICT) as a learning and teaching medium. ICT serves to optimize the choice of different teaching methods and learning styles. Currently, however, computer-based educational opportunities are generally inaccessible to visually impaired people. E-learning courses are currently offered mainly only to people without disabilities. Project Content 1. Defining the curriculum for the e-learning courses 2. Development of two e-learning courses: - Information Management - English Placement 3. Development of an accessible LMS and WBT Target groups - E-learning coaches - New orientation for people with emerging visual impairment - People in further education or vocational training - Blind or visually impaired people
