Classifications & Standards
Classification systems and standardisation are important tools for research and practice in the field of rehabilitation and participation. They enable uniform interdisciplinary communication and a common understanding of terms and can be used as objective guidelines and aids for decision-making.
The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) is the subject of projects, as are service classifications for vocational and medical rehabilitation, medical guidelines and case groups, and indices.
