Supported Employment - Sustainability and Quality Assurance of the Participation in Working Life

The project has its focus on career coaching / job security under the measure of Supported Employment in accordance with German law (§ 38a SGB IX). In addition, issues of quality assurance in the InbeQ (individual qualification in companies of the general labour market) are processed. In this respect, the project promotes the cooperation between the responsible service providers job agency (Agentur für Arbeit) and federal integration office (Integrationsamt). Essentially, the project consists of three topics. First emphasis – Sustainability and Job Security: Due to the lack of documented evidence information will be collected for long-term retention of labor-market-integrated InbeQ-participants. The aim is also to determine inhibiting and promoting factors for job security in order to draw conclusions about the design of the InbeQ and influence the sustainability in a positive way. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods are planned. Second emphasis – Quality assurance and documentation: The quality assessment of the InbeQ due to the individual approach is connected to particular challenges for the relevant service providers. In principle it applies in the area of services, that the process quality is difficult to measure. The existing quality and quality assurance of InbeQ is to analyse, to reflect, and to evolve in exchange with the service providers related to sustainable participation. Third emphasis – Networking and exchange of expertise: There will be Supported-Employment-Forums in four locations nationwide to promote the communication exchange between service providers and service demanders. Those meetings will be organized, carried out, and evaluated by the BAG UB.
