Development and initial testing of a model for the promotion of individual employment-related goal orientation in medical rehabilitation (FIEZ)

The intervention concept is intended to help rehabilitation patients to formulate job-related objectives for their treatment in such a way as to enable them to cope better with illness-related impairments at work while making better use of their own and external resources. It is based on the assumption that the early formulation of individual, concrete job-related objectives supports the cognitive and motivational focus of the rehabilitation patient on the job-related objectives of rehabilitation. The objectives are intended to extend to the long-term employment process after discharge. They thus help to better perceive and utilize the entire subsequent rehabilitation process from the perspective of these employment-related objectives. This model project is scientifically accompanied and evaluated. The evaluation is being carried out as part of a preliminary scientific study by the Gesellschaft für Qualität im Gesundheitswesen (GfQG), Karlsruhe and Dr. Wolfgang Bürger - Forschung und Beratung im Gesundheitswesen (fbg) Karlsruhe with funding in accordance with § 31 Para. 1 Sentence 1 No. 5 SGB VI.
