Empowerment for Participation

Description / Topics

The German Council of Centers for Self-Determined Living of disabled people (ISL) will run five empowerment trainings for disabled people in different regions of Germany. The main goal is to empower disabled people to get involved in the implementation of the UN-Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. During the trainings disabled people will not only gain knowledge about the Human Rights and the UN-Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities but also will develop and organise their own projects for their implementation.
