Barrier Free Design

Accessibility means designing and adapting all areas of life so that they are comprehensively accessible and usable for people with and without disabilities.

Projects deal with how barrier-free participation in education and work, information, communication and media, mobility or housing and construction can be realised.

For example, they develop and disseminate accessible products and services such as websites and learning portals, software or forms from government agencies in plain language, develop guidelines for the planning and design of accessible workplaces, analyze the status of accessible solutions in public transport, or draft standards for accessibility and test them.
