Description / Topics

Persons who are requested by their health insures companies or employment agencies to apply for medical rehabilitation services are usually long-term ill and their occupational participation can be assumed to be limited. Studies show that rehabilitation patients who are requested in this way have poorer satisfaction scores and lower subjective rehabilitation success and also negatively influence the self-reported rehabilitation success of fellow rehabilitation patients 1.
Goal of the project is to equalize rehabilitation-related motivation, success and satisfaction of prompted rehabilitants with the non-prompted rehabilitants and, in the longer term, to improve the chances of participation.
By means of an interactive digital offer, supported by a rehabilitation coach, prospective rehabilitants who are prompted to apply receive preparation for medical rehabilitation which is tailored to their needs, barriers and competencies. The contents, forms, and methods of the intervention are developed participatory as well as in a theory- and evidence-based manner and made available in a modular principle.
