Action 1000plus

In the period from 01.01.2005 to 31.12.2009, Action 1000 was able to integrate a total of more than 1250 substantially disabled people (with a significant intellectual impairment) into regular (inclusive) employment relationships in the general labor market. With the AKTION 1000plus, the concepts, offers, agreements and structures that were developed within the framework of Aktion 1000 are now to be further developed, made permanent, introduced across the board and evaluated with regard to their effects, costs, results and sustainability. By December 31, 2013, the "vocational preparation facilities" (BVE) as well as the offers for vocational preparation, qualification, placement and securing of vocational participation - "cooperative vocational training and preparation" (KoBV) and/or "supported employment" (UB) - should be available nationwide. UB comprises both measures for "individual company qualification" - predominantly under the auspices of the employment agencies - and for "career guidance" under the auspices of the KVJS - Integration Office. The integration specialist services are available as a continuous offer for personal support and professional accompaniment, from school and professional preparation to long-term securing of participation in working life in the general labor market. AKTION 1000 PLUS does not create any fundamentally new services or structures that go beyond Aktion 1000. Rather, as part of the nationwide introduction of BVE/KoBV/UB, the existing communication and cooperation structures (participation committee and its working committees at the state level as well as network and career path conferences at the local level) are supplemented by the formation of (statewide) competence teams and the use of implementation consultants. These supplementary services provide local agents with technical and organizational support. The implementation consultants are appointed by the respective working committees and are based there. The competence teams facilitate the exchange of experience between the (directly acting) agents and support the conceptual standardization and further development. They do not form a decision-making level of their own, but are interlinked with the respective working committees. The issues raised and the proposals for the further development of concepts, structures and services are dealt with there and, if necessary, forwarded to the participation committee for final consultation or decision-making. With the AKTION 1000 PLUS campaign, the participants are making a significant contribution to meeting the requirements of the UN Convention in Baden-Württemberg. The campaign was extended on 01.01.2014 - with the "Action 1000 - Perspective 2020.
