STARTKLARplus - In-depth career orientation for (severely) disabled students

The measure is intended to support the state and EU interest in bringing more disabled people into the general labor market. The in-depth job orientation for disabled students is intended to provide an early vocational orientation and identification of supportable resources in order to be able to realize more career prospects and opportunities, also in the direction of integration into the general labor and training market. The measure is intended to encourage students to pursue paths that have not yet been taken and thus to open up more options for (severely) disabled students. In the first pilot phase, 75 pupils and 25 pairs of parents or guardians are to be reached in the model regions of Steinfurt and Paderborn/Höxter in the Westphalian part of the state. To this end, courses on the topics of "skills assessment", "career exploration" and an "accompanying parents' seminar" will be held in modular form in the 9th grade in several special schools this year.
