Model Project Transition from School to Job (ÜSB)

The aim of the model project is to support disabled people in the transition phase from school to adult life. This includes: - targeted preparation of pupils from special needs centers with the special focuses of mental as well as physical and motor development, including the I pupils appropriately supervised by the special needs centers, by the integration specialist services for stronger orientation of practical vocational orientation to the conditions of the general labor market - the establishment of sustainable inclusion structures in the schools (Berufswegekonferenz) and in the respective regions (regional conferences). The project is divided into two model phases. The core element of the 1st project phase is the implementation of in-depth extended career orientation with the students. The goal and core element of the 2nd project phase is the individual improvement of basic vocational skills, which prepare for a job, of the students who have potential and interest for a job in the general labor market.
