agile in Wolfsburg

Our project "agil in Wolfsburg" is testing a holistic approach to supporting young people (18-35 years old) with mental illnesses and addiction disorders in the area of responsibility of SGB II. The aim is to identify the treatment needs of the aforementioned target group at an early stage, to offer the affected persons tailored services and to bridge waiting times. This goal is to be achieved by qualifying integration specialists in the recognition of mental illnesses and addictions, by implementing agil coaches to provide special support for identified customers in the job center, by setting up or organizing a care network, and by using motivational groups and psychoeducational groups. To this end, the agil project in Wolfsburg draws on existing local services and facilities on the one hand and also brings these services and facilities together in a coordinated network with additional new services. Significant changes or innovations are made in the organization of the work in the job center and the cooperation among them. This includes the establishment of agile coaches, the development of a concept for the qualification of integration specialists and the establishment of motivation groups at the network partners. The model project is suitable for preventing a chronic illness or disability, maintaining or restoring earning capacity, counteracting a threatened or existing (partial) reduction in earning capacity and improving job participation. This is also in line with rehapro's funding policy objectives. Cooperation partners in our network are the Social Psychiatric Service in Wolfsburg, the addiction support of the Diakonie, the youth and drug counseling center in Wolfsburg, and Lavie Reha GmbH. Our project is scientifically accompanied by the Charité. Ostfalia is responsible for the purely economic evaluation.
